I have known our God and
Father since before I can remember. Even as a small child, in my
heart I always knew there was something or someone that was so much
more than I could see. Even though I could not see it, I could
certainly feel it in my heart and soul. It is to that feeling I
would always go when ever I needed more than I could find in this
world. I finally did come to know and realize that this feeling,
love and trust was that of God.
I have seen him do so many miracles at
different times of my life. One that I will share and that many
other people witnessed has to do with my daughter (Vera) when she
was still a young girl. My daughter had an ear condition that would
drain really stinky fluid. She had tubes put into her ears twice and
had the care of doctors but nothing seemed to help long term. The
condition kept coming back and as Vera started becoming a young lady
it became very embarrassing for her. I felt hopeless in being able
to help my own daughter. I began praying about it as there was
nothing left to do. During the summer between Vera's 6th and 7th
grade she decided to get baptized through immersion at our small
church. Once she was baptized I went up to the front to embrace her
and to help her dry off. The first thing she said to me was "I need
some Kleenex, when my head went under the water I felt so much
pressure in this ear and junk is really coming out, it feels like it
is running down my neck". I looked and it was running down her neck,
we cleaned it up not knowing that it would be the last time we ever
had to deal with it. That happened 20 years ago and from that time
on her ear condition was gone and has never returned.
When non believers ask me why I believe - I
simply tell them that "I believe because I know without a doubt that
they (Father/Son/Holy Spirit) are there. I have seen their power and
can feel them with all of my being".
My prayer is that everyone that is created come
to know their creator and that they appreciate all that was done for
them when Jesus gave his life to hang on the cross to save us from
our own sins. I pray
that all come to know that no matter what they have done that they
can still be part of God's family that he will welcome them and
rejoice in their coming home to him.
People need the LORD!!!
Your sister is Jesus Christ our savior!
